How Do the Indiana Hoosiers Match Up With Rest of Big 10?

It was cool seeing the Indiana Hoosiers at the top of the rankings in the 2012-13 college basketball season, but that will likely not be the case in the upcoming season, since quite a bit of players will be taking their talents to the next level from this team. With that said, let’s see how the Hoosiers match up with the rest of the Big 10 entering the 2013-14 season.

No longer will there be a Cody Zeller being a beast in the paint or a Victor Oladipo doing work on both sides of the court. However, Yogi Ferrell and Will Sheehey will be back and Indiana will be counting on these two players a lot.

Michigan State and Ohio State will likely enter the season by being ranked in the top 10 and Wisconsin and Michigan both have good chances of being ranked in the top 25. The Hoosiers may have a chance of being ranked because of what they have done the past couple of seasons and since their name is Indiana and all.

Still, this team is going to have to prove a lot because really no one has any idea on how good, bad or average it will be in the Big 10. Predictions are great and all, but this Indiana team will not look the same whatsoever, but that tends to happen when a team loses four starters from a season ago.

Iowa will be returning a bunch of talent, so there is a chance that the Hawkeyes finish ahead of Indiana in the conference standings. This conference is going to be seeing a bunch of new faces in the upcoming season. The only thing that is certain is that Michigan State will practically be the same team.

Still, Indiana has plenty of talent entering the season and a top five finish in the Big 10 is very likely.
