The Cincinnati Bearcats will be getting back enough talent to compete in the AAC in the 2013-14 college basketball season. Incoming freshman Jermaine Lawrence could play a big role in that by emerging for the Bearcats.
I am not sure how Lawrence will be used on Cincinnati, but with some talent leaving, he could find his way on the starting five in no time. He is a pretty highly rated recruit and could help out this team quite a bit in the front court, if he meets expectations.

The Bearcats will have plenty of competition in the AAC, but they are one of the best teams in the conference on paper entering the season. That is because leading scorer Sean Kilpatrick will be returning, among many other things.
Cincinnati is coming off of a season where it made the NCAA tournament. Who knows if this will be the same case next year, but it definitely should be. However, it would be nice if this team could find more consistency, since it did start the season off with 12 straight wins and went 10-11 after that.
Whether the case, Lawrence could very well emerge in the upcoming season and if that is in fact the case, the Bearcats will be right there with Louisville, Memphis and Connecticut in the conference standings.
He is not the only new addition on the team, but he is likely the best candidate for being an instant impact on Cincinnati.
However, just with Kilpatrick returning alone, this team could be one to watch out for in the 2013-14 season.
