If you’re Drake, you’re probably content with life right now. I mean, the rapper is a multi-millionaire with plenty of chart-toppers, millions of fans and a ton of time to make visits at sporting events everywhere. This guy has it made, right?
However, Friday night was a low point in Drake’s otherwise successful career as a celebrity.
The rapper made an appearance at the Kentucky Wildcats‘ annual Midnight Madness and made a fool of himself when he tried to show off his shooting skills — or lack thereof. Watch the former Degrassi star as he forgets how to shoot a basketball and hits far more air than rim in his recent appearance in Lexington:

You might be asking yourself why Drake was at Kentucky’s Midnight Madness – it’s probably because John Calipari thinks he’s a pretty hip coach (and he probably paid the rapper handsomely) and because the former actor is a bandwagon fan. He must have heard that Kentucky has been named the No. 1 preseason team in the country and jumped aboard the train. I don’t care how many Kentucky games Drake has been to before, he is still a bandwagoner.
Just because of his reputation of following the best teams and athletes, I’m glad he embarrassed himself with an airball or two. It seems hard to believe he played a basketball player when he starred in Degrassi.
If you are jealous of Drake at any point in the future, just think back to this video and remember that you aren’t as bad at basketball as the rapper. Then again, he probably made a couple thousand bucks for just showing up to this event.
