The Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked once again and they have a pretty easy schedule through the Big Ten this season. If they want to be successful, though, they must accomplish these five things in conference play.

Besides the regular season finale against Wisconsin, Ohio State's only other game against a ranked opponent is their January 29 contest against Maryland. If OSU wants to keep up with the rest of the conference, they much be able to beat Maryland at home.

The freshman is leading the Buckeyes with an impressive 17.7 points per game. He is also dishing out 5.1 assists per contest. Russell is the superstar of this team and must continue to mature in his first year.

Scott is leading the team with 7.4 assists per game, which is tops in the Big Ten and fifth in the nation. The point guard knows how to distribute the ball, and if OSU is going to have any success, they must continue to run their offense through Scott.

OSU is 3-3 versus Michigan over the past three years. The hated rivals face off twice this year, with the first time coming next week. The Buckeyes must beat Michigan twice this year in order to keep pace in the Big Ten.

Luckily for the Buckeyes, this game is in Ohio. The Badgers made the Final Four last year, and are ranked high again this year, so this will be the real test for this Buckeyes team.
