The NCAA tournament is the only thing we love that consistently rips our heart out. Unlike unrequited love, or blindsiding disappointment, we live to watch March Madness upsets. Here are 10 that are imminent to happen and will happily ruin bracket entries throughout the country.

Doesn’t it feel like the Georgetown Hoyas are overrated every year? That’s because the Hoyas are overrated every year. This year’s No. 4 seed is no different, and history will repeat itself as Georgetown will get bounced from the first round for what will be the Hoyas' fourth time out of their last five tournament appearances.

Big 12 this, Big 12 that -- this pending upset should force multiple pundits to eat their words. Georgia State has former Louisville Cardinal Kevin Ware and can give the Baylor Bears another unexpected exit a la what happened to the Bears’ football program.

8. No. 10 Ohio State Over No. 7 VCU

This upset will come down to which team has the best player, and that key cog is D’Angelo Russell of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Look for Russell to go Wilt Chamberlain and score a bushel of buckets in leading the Buckeyes over the VCU Rams.

This isn’t SEC football, so it shouldn’t be life-threatening to say that the SEC is an overrated basketball conference. The Kentucky Wildcats are by far the No. 1 team in the country, but the Arkansas Razorbacks are such a distant second that you can barely see them behind Kentucky’s humongous shadow. Expect the Wofford Terriers to roll in round two.

6. No. 14 Albany Over No. 3 Oklahoma

Speaking of overrated basketball conferences, let’s shift our focus back to the Big 12. The Albany Great Danes gave the Florida Gators as much as they desired from a No. 16 in last year’s tourney, and now Albany is primed to finish off the school’s first upset.

Yes Melo Trimble is very good, but who’s ready for some Valpo magic? Look for the Crusaders to stun the Terrapins and set up nicely in the third round against either the No. 12 seed Buffalo Bulls or the No. 5 West Virginia Mountaineers.

4. No. 12 Buffalo Over No. 5 West Virginia

The dreaded No. 12 - No. 5 game will be the bane of the Big 12. Look for the West Virginia Mountaineers to be the third Big 12 victim to fall and for the Buffalo Bulls to buy into Bobby Hurley’s plan to keep the Bulls charging into the Sweet 16.

3. No. 12 Wyoming Over No. 5 Northern Iowa

The Wyoming Cowboys will slow down this game to barely-watchable levels. The first team to 50 should win, and it should be Wyoming, behind the work of talented Larry Nance Jr.

2. No. 10 Georgia Over No. 7 Michigan State

Michigan State historically fares poorly as a No. 7 seed, and the Georgia Bulldogs give the Spartans matchup problems down low. Oddly enough, the Spartans’ three-guard attack will hurt them against Georgia more than any other team in the East region, and it will be the No. 1 reason for this upset.

Look out! There will be a No. 15 beating a No. 2 once again. Texas Southern has already slain the Michigan State Spartans and the Kansas State Wildcats, and they've done so on the road. Believe the unbelievable, and expect the Texas Southern Tigers to best the Arizona Wildcats in dramatic upset fashion this Thursday.
