Some people will be questioning Kris Dunn‘s decision to return to Providence for his junior year. You know, since he seemed to be a lock for the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft. I say, awesome for Dunn for wanting to return to school.

The draft will be there next year if the Friar wants to enter then. In the meantime, he will take his 15.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game and be one of the best players in college basketball in the 2015-16 season.
Dunn may have been looked at as one of the best point guard prospects in the draft, but he needs to get those turnovers down (4.2 per game last season).
During times like these, it is so easy to say Dunn is making a mistake by not declaring, but we have to remember that it is Dunn’s decision to stay in school. He is the one who has to live with this decision.
Regardless, you would think another year at the college level would only help Dunn’s stock. At the very least — more like at the very best — he should improve his game, which will help him be even more ready for the pros.
Providence is coming off an NCAA tournament appearance as a No. 6 seed. The team finished with a record of 22-12 on the year. Needless to say, Dunn coming back is a huge plus for this team.
Thanks to Dunn coming back to the college level, fans can expect his name to be in the headlines all season long.
