UCLA Bruins freshman Lonzo Ball has been making the rounds at ESPN over the last few days after declaring for the 2017 NBA Draft.
Ball appeared on ESPN First Take on Tuesday with his father LaVar and then appeared on SportsCenter Wednesday to discuss his feelings on the NBA Draft and whether he or Washington’s Markelle Fultz should be the No. 1 overall pick.
“Markelle’s a great player, but I feel I’m better than him,” said Ball.”I think I can lead a team better than him. Obviously he’s a great scorer — he’s a great player, so I’m not taking that away from him.”
