J.T. Barrett‘s season ended abruptly a couple of weeks back when he broke his ankle against Michigan. Now it appears he could have some off-field issues to deal with as well.
Officers responded to Barrett’s apartment after domestic disturbance call. No arrests, charges, or injuries. http://t.co/cNGr68fTiA

Barrett supposedly got into it with his girlfriend when she wouldn’t leave his apartment, allegedly pushed her and eventually choked her on his bed. Barrett also claims that his girlfriend hit him in the course of their argument.
Police did not report any visible injuries on either person.
Ohio State has been made aware of the incident, but at this point it doesn’t look like much will come of it. Even if that’s the case, Barrett needs to do a better job of avoiding any situation that could be detrimental to his football career, and definitely any situation that could possibly be linked with domestic violence.
