The offseason is the most dangerous time of the year for star athletes. That turned out to be the case once again for Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott. Most of the details are still murky, but what we do know is the incident happened at a Waka Flocka concert in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Defensive end Torrey Dale and wide receiver Damian Williams were the two other Bulldogs involved. Warning — The graphic nature in the two videos below may be hard to watch for some.
A Mississippi state spokesman told the Associated press that Prescott suffered facial cuts after being hit with a bottle. He did not go to the hospital and did not want to press charges. One genius claimed on Twitter to have been one of the men that beat up Prescott, but those tweets have since been deleted.
Thanks for all the Concerns and Prayers! I’m okay and ready to get back to Starkville. Ignorance happens! Be safe on Spring Break!

Fortunately, Prescott seems to have come out of this ugly and extremely unnecessary incident without any major injuries. Williams wrote, “We got jumped for no reason, It’s sad we can’t go anywhere without being attacked by people,” before deleting the tweet.
Brooks Roberts of Bulldog Sports Radio tweeted the clearest images of Prescott’s wounds.
