Speedy Noil is back.
After being away from the team for spring football in order to “take care of some things,” Texas A&M Aggies head coach Kevin Sumlin says that the young wide receiver has done what he needs to do in order to return to the team.
Sumlin shared the news during today’s SEC coaches teleconference.

When Noil was away from the team, Sumlin was very vague about why the receiver was away from the program, but he was clear right away that he believed Noil would be back.
“Speedy has some things he’s got to complete,” Sumlin said at the time, via The Houston Chronicle. “He’ll be back this week. We asked him to do some things, and while he’s doing that he’s been away from the program.
“There’s more to it than just playing football. There are guys who mature at different times, and sometimes you have to put some things in place to make sure guys really understand what’s expected of them.”
Last season, Noil hauled in 46 catches for 583 yards and five touchdowns. He will be looking to improve on those numbers this season.
