Justin Combs is a defensive back on the UCLA football team. If not for his last name and famous father, Combs likely would be just another little-known player on the Bruins. Of course, his father is Sean Combs, the rapper better known as Puff Daddy, Diddy, or P. Diddy.
According to TMZ, Diddy was arrested on early Monday afternoon for allegedly getting into a fight with UCLA’s strength coach Sal Alosi. In case you forgot, Alosi is the man who was involved in the tripping incident with the New York Jets in 2010.
A source told TMZ that Alosi was screaming at Diddy’s son during practice earlier in the day. At some point later, Diddy apparently confronted and grabbed him at the UCLA athletic facility.
He was reportedly arrested for assault and is currently in custody at campus jail.
UPDATE: Sources say Diddy attacked Alosi with a kettlebell. He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon — a felony.
