TV Schedule: Saturday, Sept. 26, 4:45 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Jones AT&T Stadium
Line: TCU (-7.5)
The TCU Horned Frogs will take their high-scoring offense and College Football Playoff aspirations to Lubbock, Texas next to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
While TCU is a top team in college football and is expected by many to make the CFP, Texas Tech enters this contest with some momentum. Winners of the first three games of the season, the Red Raiders knocked off a mighty SEC team last week in the Arkansas Razorbacks.

QB Patrick Mahomes likely wouldn’t win a popularity contest against Trevone Boykin, but he is quietly doing big things in 2015. Mahomes already has 1,029 passing yards and nine touchdowns, after all. Boykin, a top Heisman contender, has 985 passing yards and 10 TDs.
Stats aside, there are not many people who are giving Texas Tech a chance in this game, and you really can’t blame them.
TCU has playoff contender written all over it, the Horned Frogs are ranked as high as No. 2 in the country and Boykin is truly one of the best players in this sport. Oh yeah, TCU also beat Texas Tech by the score of 82-27 last season (yes, the Horned Frogs scored 82 points).
Both teams enter this Big 12 battle with 3-0 records, but only one team will escape alive, and that team will be the Horned Frogs.
PREDICTION: Horned Frogs 52, Red Raiders 35
