TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 10, 7:30 p.m. ET, SECN

Even though the Florida Gators are coming off a big-time win (that might be putting it lightly), this game is just as big for the Missouri Tigers as it is for Florida.
Here’s why: Florida and Missouri are two of the best teams in the SEC East. Knocking off SEC West teams is very important, but the winner of this matchup will have top bragging rights in the SEC East. That said, glory in this conference doesn’t always last that long, as the SEC is jam-packed with some of the greatest talents in the country.

Both teams can certainly hold their own on the defensive side of the ball, but QB Will Grier just got done picking the Ole Miss Rebels‘ defense apart. Meanwhile, Missouri is going with the inexperienced (yet talented) Drew Lock.
Missouri typically doesn’t get the credit it deserves, but it is hard to not go with the hot Gators right now, especially if Florida really has found its QB.
You see, defense hasn’t been the problem for the Gators over the last few years. So if Jim McElwain found his QB, the rest of the SEC is in trouble.
While I don’t think Florida is “back,” I do think Missouri is going to struggle on the offensive side of the ball, which will result in a win for the Gators.
PREDICTION: Gators 28, Tigers 14
