The Florida Gators‘ dream season is likely over.

The one thing the Gators have been missing over the last couple of years is a worthy starting QB. They finally found that quarterback in Will Grier … and now this happens.
Florida still has a fierce defense (the Gators only allowed three points against the Missouri Tigers last weekend, after all), but a team can’t win in the SEC with just a defense alone. A team certainly can’t win a championship with just a solid defense alone. Not in today’s game, where teams like the Baylor Bears seem to drop 50+ points every single game.
Just to make matters worse, Florida will take on the LSU Tigers this weekend … at Death Valley.

The Gators will still compete in every game — there is no doubt about it. But the keys to the offense will probably be handed over to Treon Harris … and we have all seen how that one ends.

The Gators are 6-0 entering this week. If they can somehow manage to knock off the undefeated Tigers, then we will talk. Until that happens, Florida fans can probably say goodbye to the 2015 college football season.
