TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 17, 7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
Stadium: Tiger Stadium
Line: LSU (-7.5)
This was supposed to be one of the best games (on paper) of the week … perhaps the season.
And then the worst possible thing happened to the 6-0 Florida Gators. QB Will Grier was suspended for the entire season. Even before that news broke out, Florida’s perfect season was in danger. You know, because it has to take on the undefeated LSU Tigers … at Death Valley.
Here’s what we know: Florida’s defense is still elite.
Here’s what we don’t know: How the Gators will respond to Grier’s suspension.

Grier playing in this game or not, the main focus is on Heisman favorite Leonard Fournette. If the season ended today, Fournette would run away (figuratively and literally) with the trophy. That tends to be the case when a RB has more than 1,000 yards in just five games.
Florida’s defense is good enough to carry it to plenty of victories this year, and it will certainly keep it in this game, but LSU’s odds of winning are looking pretty darn good right about now.
Both LSU and Florida have quality victories on the season, and both teams have already made some serious noise in 2015. The Gators might be without their starting quarterback, but this is still a showdown that features two undefeated teams … that are both ranked in the top 10.
That alone makes it a must-watch.
PREDICTION: Gators 17, Tigers 21
