It happened.

The USC Trojans have fired head coach Steve Sarkisian.

As a result, the Trojans have hit rock bottom — well, at least for the 2015 season.

Not only will the Trojans have to start from scratch in the head coaching department, but they are coming off of a loss against the Washington Huskies. That loss came at home and it was the second one of the season — just to make that stew a little more bitter.

USC, like most seasons, entered this year as one of the best teams in college football. The Trojans lost early on, but were still considered to be in the College Football Playoff picture … and then last game happened.

Hopefully Sarkisian gets the help he needs. Regardless, the Trojans’ season is quickly going down the drain.

On top of not even being in the CFP picture and Cody Kessler‘s Heisman hopes being a thing of the past, this team will take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish next.

Translation: Things could get even worse for this program here shortly.
