Line: Ohio State (-21)
Entering the 2015 season, many fans all over the country thought the Ohio State Buckeyes were more than set at the quarterback position.
To make a long story short, the talented QB battle ended with Cardale Jones earning the keys to Urban Meyer‘s fancy offense. The football season has been going seven weeks strong, and Jones is clearly not the answer at the quarterback position, if you can believe that.
The offense has been taking too long to get going (in basically every game), but the team ends up winning in the end.

This week, I say the Buckeyes go with J.T. Barrett for an entire game and see how that one works out. At the very least, Ohio State can lean on Ezekiel Elliott. You know, kind of like it has been doing the entire season. At the very best, Barrett shines and all is solved on the offensive side of the ball for the defending champs.
And then you have the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (aka OSU’s Week 8 opponent). Rutgers gets this game at home, but that likely won’t matter in the end. This is a team that has already lost three times in 2015, but it is coming off of a victory against the Indiana Hoosiers. In that victory, the Scarlet Knights dropped a grand total of 55 points.
Nevertheless, the Buckeyes have playmakers all over the field, which will likely lead to them putting plenty of points on the scoreboard.
PREDICTION: Buckeyes 49, Scarlet Knights 14
