TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 31, 8:00 p.m. ET, ABC
Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
Line: Notre Dame (-10)
Here’s your Halloween special this Saturday: The Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. the Temple Owls.
Believe it or not, one of the two teams enters this contest undefeated … and it’s not Notre Dame. Not only is Temple a perfect 7-0, but it is ranked in the top 25 (apparently the AAC means business this year). Just to spice things up a little bit more, the Owls get to play this Halloween matchup in front of their fans.

The Fighting Irish are coming off of a bye, but they knocked off the USC Trojans the week before. Their only blemish was a loss against the Clemson Tigers (by two points). That loss is looking better and better — if that is possible — thanks to Clemson climbing up the rankings in a hurry.
Temple and its stingy defense certainly haven’t had the toughest slate in college football, but it did manage to knock off the Penn State Nittany Lions earlier in the season. Needless to say, this is the Owls’ Super Bowl (if you will). If they plan on staying in the national spotlight in 2015, a win against the Fighting Irish is a must.
That said, I’m not about to go against a team that very well could end up in the College Football Playoff, even if their path does take them on the road this week.
Halloween tends to get crazy, but not Temple over Notre Dame crazy.
PREDICTION: Fighting Irish 28, Owls 17
