TV Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 14, 8 p.m. ET, BTN
Stadium: Kinnick Stadium
Line: Iowa (-12.5)
The Iowa Hawkeyes, believe it or not, are ranked No. 5 in the College Football Playoff rankings for Week 11.
If Hawkeyes fans are wondering what this all means, it is all really simple: If Iowa wins out, which will likely include a game against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Big 10 championship, it will make the playoff. After all, Ohio State comes in at No. 3 this week, so the Hawkeyes would of course jump the Buckeyes if they beat the Buckeyes.
Then there is the Minnesota Golden Gophers (Iowa’s Week 11 opponent). Minnesota has four wins with three games left to play. You know what that means, right? Minnesota has to win two out of its last three games if it plans on being part of bowl season (six wins makes a team bowl eligible).

Iowa will close out the regular season with games against the Purdue Boilermakers and Nebraska Cornhuskers, while Minnesota finishes off the 2015 season against the Illinois Fighting Illini and Wisconsin Badgers.
Things can get all kinds of good for the Hawkeyes if they continue to play the way they have been all season. And then there is Minnesota, who basically needs a miracle to get to six wins.
Look for Iowa to move to 10-0 this weekend, and to move one step closer to making the playoff.
PREDICTION: Golden Gophers 10, Hawkeyes 21
