TV Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 21, 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC
Stadium: Ohio Stadium
Line: Ohio State (-13)
As long as Michigan State QB Connor Cook is good to go for this game, we should be in store for quite the showdown.
Unfortunately, this game lost some lust with the Spartans going down against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nonetheless, this showdown has serious Big 10 title implications on the line, and Michigan State probably wants nothing more than to knock the Ohio State Buckeyes out of the College Football Playoff talks.

Cook being ready to go or not, Michigan State has a ton of playmakers it needs to game plan around. Ezekiel Elliott is not only a Heisman contender, but he has broken free for 100+ rushing yards in every game in 2015. Of course, J.T. Barrett is a dual-threat QB who is capable of being the best player on the field no matter who Ohio State is playing.
Just to stack the cards against the Spartans a little bit more, Urban Meyer’s bunch gets this game at home.
Michigan State would need an absolute miracle to make the playoff thanks to that loss against Nebraska, but knocking off Ohio State and then the Penn State Nittany Lions to close out the regular season would at least get the committee’s attention. If Michigan State does win this showdown and the Big 10 title game, things will get very interesting … but that’s a whole lot of ifs.
Coming in at No. 13 in the rankings, MSU has a ton of ground to pick up.
We will leave you with this: Good luck to any team in the country when it comes to knocking off the defending national champs at home.
PREDICTION: Spartans 28, Buckeyes 38
