The Florida State Seminoles will take on a team that is 8-2 in Week 12. Still, the also 8-2 Seminoles are expected to destroy their opponent.
That is because FSU’s opponent is the Chattanooga Mocs.
Florida State will take on the Florida Gators to close out the 2015 college football regular season, so it is safe to say that the Seminoles might be looking ahead.

Looking ahead or not, Florida State plays in the ACC for a reason and Chattanooga plays in the Southern Conference for a reason.
Winning by 60+ in this game won’t help the College Football Playoff committee look at FSU in a better light and it certainly wouldn’t help the Seminoles make the ACC title game. Their two losses make it perfectly clear that they will not be partaking in the two things mentioned above — the ACC title game and the playoff. Not when the Clemson Tigers are in the same conference and have yet to lose a game in 2015.
Winning by 60+ points would give Florida State some momentum entering the game against Florida, though, and momentum is exactly what it needs. The Gators are a one-loss team, will be playing in the SEC championship game and could end up making the playoff.
To make a long story short, look for Dalvin Cook to rack up the yards early and often, which certainly wouldn’t hurt his Heisman hopes.
