Line: Clemson (-5)

College football has been nuts this season — and it seems to have carried over to the college basketball season already. Since upsets have kind of been the theme in 2015, fans have to expect at least one this weekend, right?

Well, I am going with the mega-upset: The North Carolina Tar Heels will hand the Clemson Tigers their first loss, which will basically make the College Football Playoff picture a complete mess.

Clemson might have that perfect record, fancy No. 1 ranking and a serious Heisman contender in QB Deshaun Watson, but North Carolina could be the best opponent it plays all year. Of course, Clemson is the toughest test for the Tar Heels.

UNC has now won 11 games in a row. Its one loss came against the South Carolina Gamecocks in the very first game of 2015 (you know, when the team had some expectations). Now, that just looks like a bad loss. That said, don’t forget that South Carolina only lost to Clemson by five last weekend.

How North Carolina can pull off the upset: Contain Watson.

How Clemson can stay undefeated: Contain running back Elijah Hood — and continue to play at an elite level, of course.

Both of these teams enter the ACC title game with perfect records in conference play. Both teams also have a shot at the CFP. Because if the Tar Heels actually do pull off the upset, how can the committee deny a one-loss ACC team that just got done knocking off the best team in the nation?

The only thing that we know for sure: Things are going to get crazy this weekend.

PREDICTION: Tar Heels 35, Tigers 33
