The New Jersey Nets have been making some minor moves among their D-League team, the Springfield Armor. The Nets have signed Larry Owens from the Tulsa 66ers. The Nets have also requested waivers on forward Dennis Horner.
Owens will more than likely be in Springfield to play for the Armor unless another injury occurs on the Nets team. This season he averaged 13.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Owens may prove to be productive if his time comes.
Horner on the other hand signed with the Nets prior to training camp as a rookie free agent from North Carolina State. Horner scored four points while playing for the Nets in 16 minutes of gameplay.
