The New Jersey Nets have had a more than disappointing season so far but their game against the Golden State Warriors shed some light on the good that their producing on the court. The Nets picked up the 107-100 win which gives them their fourth win of the season.

Good
The Nets win showed how good they could be when they all mesh well. Deron Williams led the Nets with 24 points. He also recorded eight rebounds and 10 assists in the game coming close to a triple-double. He was supported with 22 points from rookie guard MarShon Brooks. Brooks and Williams were two of the four players that were in double-figures.

Kris Humphries grabbed 15 of the Nets’ 45 team rebounds in the game as well. It was a much needed victory for New Jersey as they head into a game against Oklahoma City Saturday.

Bad
The only bad you could really see from this game is the poor defense that the Nets play. New Jersey allowed Golden State to shoot 51 percent from the field. Monta Ellis scored 30 points and if it wasn’t for him carrying the team, the Warriors would not have kept the game close.

The Nets also only forced 10 turnovers on defense and really only won because of their 50 percent shooting percentage and their rebounding.

What’s Next?
New Jersey will take on Oklahoma City Saturday while Golden State will play Indiana Friday.
