New Jersey Nets Put A Damper On Linsanity
The New Jersey Nets were the team that Jeremy Lin brought his Linsanity on to and Monday night they quenched the New York Knicks and Linsanity for at least one more night. The Nets defeated their cross-river rivals 100-92.
Good
The Nets showed how tough they can actually be and they should not be taken lightly. Nets’ star point guard Deron Williams was on fire all night. Williams finished the night with 38 points, six assists and four rebounds. Williams’ performance set off big men Shelden Williams and Kris Humphries, both of whom became monsters on the glass. Williams had 10 rebounds and Humphries had a double-double, 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Bad
Even with the Nets win, they failed to contain Jeremy Lin who scored 21 points. But they managed to force him to make nine turnovers. With that being said, the Nets also committed 17 turnovers which was the most of both teams.
