Recently in the media, former Giants Antonio Pierce and Michael Strahan have questioned the toughness of Brandon Jacobs and Justin Tuck. Their teammate Osi Umenyiora has had enough
“They played the game before,” Umenyiora said. “They know what it’s like… and it makes me question how real and how authentic they really, really are. They know better than to come out and say some of the things that they’ve said.”
I can’t imagine the current players frustration with their former teammates, especially when the two missed time due to injuries in their career.
Antonio Pierce needs to shut the hell up. He missed the end of the 2009 season with a neck injury that didn’t need surgery, and Tuck is sitting out with a neck problem as well.
Pierce is just bitter that the Giants went with Goff in 2010 and decided not to bring Pierce back, so do us all a favor and close your ridiculous mouth. You were a good player and a great motivator, but to question a former teammate’s toughness is out of line.
Don’t even get me started with Strahan, who missed six games towards the end of 2006 AND the playoff game against the Eagles.
I can guaran-damn-tee Tuck would have been on the field if it was a playoff game. Tuck has played through so many injuries in his career. I love Stray and Pierce, but they are dead wrong in this instance.
