New York Jets’ AFC Playoff Hopes on Life Support Going into Week 17 Game vs Miami Dolphins
With one week remaining in the NFL regular season, there are still a few playoff spots up for grabs.
In the AFC, four teams have already locked up playoff spots, with the AFC West title and the final AFC wild card spot yet to be determined.
Five teams remain mathematically alive for a playoff spot, including the New York Jets, who have dropped from 8-5 to 8-7, yet still have a glimmer of hope.
Some have estimated the Jets only have about a 10% chance of reaching the postseason, but that's still a lot better than 0%. Let's take a look at the playoff scenarios around the AFC.
