Cowboys Look Solid in 16-14 Preseason Win Over Chargers

The Cowboys recorded another preseason win and everything looked smooth on both sides of the ball during their third exhibition at San Diego. The Cowboys scored a touchdown in the red zone, quieting all the “red zone woe” haters. Dallas held San Diego’s starting offense to less than 180 yards and only one touchdown through a majority of the first half. The stars played well and so did several young players who made big strides in their individual races for roster positions. Most importantly, both starting units played well against a Chargers team that beat them 20-17 last December, showing signs of improvement and further potential.
