Chase Daniel dazzles as Saints beat Texans

While the results of any NFL preseason game have to be taken with a grain of salt, there was one very bright spot in the Saints 38-20 win over the Houston Texans in the Superdome. Saints quarterback Chase Daniel scrambles for a first down in the team's preseason game against the Texans. Although All Pro quarterback Drew Brees started the game, reserve signal-caller Chase Daniel quickly stole the show, passing for 182 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Daniel played seven series for the Saints, with the team scoring on four of them--three with touchdowns and one via a field goal. Daniel came in immediately in relief of Brees, while the other quarterback competing for a backup spot, Patrick Ramsey, got the night off. It appears that he would be likely to play extensively...
