Lions’ Stafford shines bright over Broncos

If you are a Detroit Lions fan and can’t be excited by what you have seen this preseason from QB Matt Stafford, what are you watching? He shined bright again Saturday night with a 25-20 win over the Denver Broncos. Of course, the final score in preseason games is not as important as watching your team's execution--and Stafford was brilliant for the Lions, leading Detroit to score in all four drives he engineered. In his first two games this preseason, Stafford is a combined 21 of 29 for 191 yards and two touchdowns--with both touchdowns to none other than WR Calvin Johnson. I really believe this duo is poised for big things this year as the addition of all the other weapons on offense is going to create more space for Johnson to operate.
