Sean Lee and Akwasi Owusu-Ansah Make Splash in Cowboys Debuts

Two of the Cowboys’ 2010 draft picks played well in their preseason debuts in San Diego on Saturday. Second-round pick Sean Lee and fourth-rounder Akwasi Owusu-Ansah both made their professional debuts after missing the Cowboys’ first two preseason games due to injuries. Lee filled in for starting linebacker Keith Brooking, who left the game early with a shoulder strain. The Penn State product played like a starter with the first-team defense and like an All-Pro when the backups came into the game. Owusu-Ansah recorded a solo tackle as well as an assist while playing free safety with the second and third units. While returning kicks, the rookie defensive back looked rather explosive on a 45-yard punt return that was wiped out by an illegal block penalty. On the whole, both rookies...
