Report: Patriots and Tom Brady could reach deal within 24 hours

After a long waiting period that has lasted throughout training camp and preseason, Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that a deal between the New England Patriots and Tom Brady could come within the next 24 hours. According to the report, the deal is expected to be a three-year deal worth $58 million and the Patriots are just waiting for an agreement from Brady’s side. Brady is entering the final year of his contract and is expected to earn $6.5 million. Talks of an extension for Brady have been one of the most popular topics in the NFL this season.
