Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis has been around. He’s now the longest tenured Jet on the roster, having spent his entire career with the Jets after being drafted out of Tennessee in the first round of the 2000 draft. Since then he’s played on some good teams, some mediocre teams and some bad teams, but he never lets it break his spirit or his desire to win in a Jets uniform. In a short article from the Associated Press, Ellis’s longevity in the league is noted, as well as his optimism about this current Jets squad.
