Cowboys vs Redskins Week 1 Preview

When the Cowboys take on the Redskins in Washington for the NFL Sunday night opener, several questions will be answered about the new-look home team. The Redskins have a new coach in Mike Shanahan, a new quarterback in Donovan McNabb, a new running partner for Clinton Portis in Larry Johnson, and a new 3-4 defense. Shanahan won back-to-back Super Bowls with the Broncos at the turn of the century and returns to the NFL after a year away from football. McNabb may be with a new team, but he’s still in the NFC East, and will have to face a Dallas front seven who tormented him in three contests last season when he was in Philadelphia. Washington is Johnson’s third team in two years, and he looks to help Portis revive the Redskins’ running game, which ranked 27th in the league last season....
