Joe Namath has never been a guy who watches what he says for fear of saying something that might not sit well with others. Broadway Joe, of course, is the author of the greatest “guarantee” in football history. He’s also the authority on the Jets and the Super Bowl, seeing as he’s the only quarterback to ever play in one in franchise history. For a 67-year-old, Joe is still sharp as a tack when it comes to Jets football, and he’s been paying very close attention to the team this season.
