Sunday morning thoughts on Vikings-Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins visit the Minnesota Vikings this afternoon. The Miami Dolphins were my selection to win the AFC East this season, however their offense didn’t appear to be clicking last week against the Buffalo Bills despite their 15-10 win. The strength of the Dolphins is their running attack, featuring Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. The Dolphins’ strength plays right into the Minnesota Viking’s defensive strength. The Vikings defense should be able to contain these two talented backs and force the Dolphins to go to the air. While the Dolphins did acquired Brandon Marshall in the offseason, Dolphins QB Chad Henne has yet to prove he is more than simply a game managing style of quarterback.
