After the Jets lost in their season opener, the media in New York and around the league were a bit dramatic in their doomsday theories about the Jets. Thankfully for the Jets, with a short week because of the Monday night opener, the Jets were eager to come back six days later to make up for it. “You would’ve thought we lost a Super Bowl and the whole world was crashing down,” right tackle Damien Woody said. “It’s tough when you lose that first game,” said quarterback Mark Sanchez. “It feels like you’re 0-10. It was nice that it was a short week so we could play as soon as possible. This game couldn’t come soon enough.” After all, the Jets lost to a team in the Ravens that many consider to be a Super Bowl contender....
