When the Carolina Panthers host the Chicago Bears on Sunday, two quarterbacks will square off against one another that nobody on the face of this earth could have predicted—Jimmy Clausen and Todd Collins. Clausen was drafted this year by the Panthers, but nobody expected him to receive any playing time this early in the season. If anything, it seemed like Carolina would throw him in towards the end of the season if they had no shot at the playoffs. After leading the Panthers to a 4-1 record down the stretch of the 2009 season, there were high expectations for Matt Moore this year now that Jake Delhomme was no longer calling the shots at quarterback.
