Cowboys-Vikings Week 6 Preview

When the Cowboys travel to the Metrodome on Sunday to take on the Vikings, the defense will have to play worlds better if Dallas wants any hope of coming away with a victory. I’m not only referring to the performance in January’s playoff loss, but the performance so far this season. You might be scratching your heads since Dallas ranks eighth overall in the NFL defensively. However, that doesn’t matter one way or the other since the Cowboys are currently 1-3. Unlike last season, the Vikings’ offense is not in the top five at the moment, but ranks a lowly 18th. Again, that makes no difference as Minnesota didn’t rack up a ton of yards in a 34-3 blowout win over Dallas in last season’s divisional playoffs.
