The Detroit Lions did not execute any trades prior to the NFL trade deadline but the club did make a few moves. The Lions activated CB Jack Williams off the physically unable to perform list and released DB Dante Wesley. Williams had been undergoing rehab for an ACL injury he sustained during last season with the Detroit Lions.
Dante Wesley basically provided special teams depth and was released in order to make room for Williams.
