The Arizona Cardinals offense is just about as exciting as watching paint dry. QB John Skelton is terrible with the ball in his hands and no time. Well, that is all he is going to get, so he is not the answer. It’s not fair Skelton has this offensive line, but he has to get along with what he has. What he has is the worst offensive line in football.

The combination of Bobby Massie and D’Anthony Batiste is by far the worst in the NFL. With no protection in front and no relief on the blindside the quarterback cannot get comfortable. The injured QB Kevin Kolb showed just how good he was by winning games with a terrible offensive line. He was tough and to say he is not is ridiculous. Separated ribs is not something you can play through. I don’t care who you think you are, but it hurts to breath. Kolb would be in pain just thinking about a 300 pound lineman crushing him to death.

Skelton is bad and it’s time to give the rookie a shot. It’s possible to do worse. He could turn the ball over, but when you’re this bad and can almost count the rushing yards on one hand, something has got to give.  It’s not only about numbers. It’s about the missed opportunities the interceptions thrown at the wrong time. The list goes on and on.

Next weeks’ game is going to be the same thing. The Green Bay Packers are going to make life difficult for the Cardinals. It looks like the Cardinals are going to go into their bye week 4-5 and at this rate they’ll probably lose during their bye week. I understand that it is not possible, but this offense is that bad. Skelton makes this team a whole lot worse. If you haven’t seen it yet, than you are probably watching the wrong game.
