The more we learn about Aaron Hernandez‘s past, the more we can see how troubled the former NFL star really was. It was no secret the guy had a bad reputation coming out of college. Many teams steered clear of him, even though he didn’t really have a documented criminal history. But if there’s a team that can change players, it’s undoubtedly the New England Patriots.
It seems the Pats tried their best, but ultimately Hernandez was hauled off to prison this past June. To say the least, it was shocking to hear the former tight end being charged with murder, but that’s currently the only battle he’ll be fighting during the upcoming football season.
All along it’s been suspected that Hernandez allegedly murder Odin Lloyd because he had knowledge of another hit the TE was connected to back in 2012. Now, it looks like there might some evidence linking the troubled former star to a double murder. Authorities apparently have surveillance footage showing Hernandez at a club with the two men who were shot dead mere hours later. The incident took place on July 15, 2012 and the drive-by shooting is yet to be solved.
This latest piece of evidence is clearly just circumstantial, but it doesn’t look good for Hernandez. We’ll have to wait and see how all of this plays out in the court of law, but I’m willing to bet that the troubled tight end will be behind bars for along time, regardless of whether or not he pulled the trigger in any of these crimes.
