The Miami Dolphins are 3-0, but are they one of the best teams in the NFL?
The Dolphins have already beaten the Atlanta Falcons and the Indianapolis Colts. Both teams made the playoffs last season and both are expected to do the same this season. The other victory was against the Cleveland Browns.
It is hard to even think of Miami as being one of the best teams in the NFL, but no one can deny that they have two solid wins already. The game against the Colts was on the road by the way.
I don’t want to jump on the Dolphins’ bandwagon yet, but if they can win their next two games they may be the best team in the league. Miami plays New Orleans on the road next and the game after it will meet up with the Baltimore Ravens. Winning those two games would be huge. Until that actually happens, though, I would not count on it.
The NFL season is 16 games long, which means a lot of football still has to be played. Miami could very well lose its next two games and I am sure that is what many people are calling for.
You cannot deny what the Dolphins have done so far, but calling them one of the best teams in the NFL may be a stretch. With that in mind, this team is 3-0 and it has beaten some great teams in close games.
Let’s talk some more once Miami makes it out of the brutal stretch that it is currently in alive or undefeated for that matter.
