With Calvin Johnson once again limited by injury, Golden Tate stepped up and was Detroit's No. 1 receiver. Tate was targeted nine times yesterday and came up with seven receptions for 134 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter. His 55-yard catch in the fourth quarter should have led to victory, but Alex Henery missed his third field goal of the day.

Ndamukong Suh was a one-man wrecking crew yesterday. He was constantly in Buffalo's backfield and disrupted their vaunted running game. The Bills averaged 122 rushing yards per game, but against Suh and the Lions, they were held to just 49 yards on 22 carries.
