Regardless of their record, people that follow the NFL are still doubting the Dallas Cowboys. Heading into Seattle to play the Seahawks, this will be a legitimate test for a team that has playoff aspirations. While the Cowboys will likely lose against the Seahawks, their 4-1 start is no fluke. The Cowboys are a serious contender in the NFC East and people need to start realizing that.

Dez Bryant is a special football player. He has the ability to go up and bring down any pass thrown to him. Even when is double- or even triple-covered, Bryant still has a great chance of catching passes. The problem during his time in Dallas is the player opposite of him. After a good rookie season, Terrance Williams has been terrific in 2014, posting 16 receptions for 250 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

First, let me start off by saying that Dan Bailey is one of the league's best kickers. While he didn't get it done on the first try this past weekend, Bailey was able to win the game for the Cowboys. In his time in Dallas, he has done that so often and he is most definitely a clutch kicker. Chris Jones isn't too bad of a punter, but Dwayne Harris is simply one of the best special teams players in the league.

In five games in 2014, DeMarco Murray has exploded onto the scene. Despite his injury history, the Cowboys have been handing the ball off to No. 29 a ton this season. Murray is currently on pace to tie Larry Johnson's single-season rushing record. Whether it has been in the running game or passing game, Murray has taken a huge burden off Tony Romo's shoulders.

Sure, this defense is one of the least talented units in the league, but they are playing with a lot of heart and tenacity. With the Cowboys running the football, the offense is chewing clock, which allows the defense to rest up and be fresh. Players like Rolando McClain and Justin Durant have played spectacularly in 2014. If this defense can continue its play, the Cowboys will find themselves in the playoffs by season's end.

Over the offseason, I had a strong feeling this offensive line was going to be special. Behind Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick and first-round pick Zack Martin, Murray has found huge running holes. Let's not forget about Doug Free and Ronald Leary, who have also been good in 2014. With Romo's history of back injuries, this offensive line has made it comfortable for No. 9 to go through his reads and find the open receiver.
