No one can blame Adrian Peterson for getting frustrated seeing his name constantly floating around in the media. At the same time, no one feels sorry for him because he is the very reason why he is being talked about so much in a bad light. It is in the best interest of him to keep quiet and accept whatever path fate leads him down. Of course, Peterson will not allow that to happen, which is a big reason why he continues to show his desperation via Twitter.
A recent report has surfaced that Peterson was involved in a six-month police investigation that stemmed from alleged criminal sexual misconduct, including a rape accusation, back in 2011. What makes it worse is that the alleged sexual misconduct was paid for using a credit card linked to Peterson’s charity, All Day, Inc.
Peterson took to Twitter late Monday night to let the social media world know how he feels:
It’s SAD how people these days will believe anything reported by media sources that don’t take the time to be GREAT!!!
— Adrian Peterson (@AdrianPeterson) October 7, 2014
It is unclear if Peterson is talking about the media report discussing him beating his child or the one about him being involved in criminal sex acts. It does not matter because either way he is wrong.
Sure, it is easy for people to believe whatever the media spoon-feeds them. At the same time, both reports are accompanied by detailed police reports. Therefore, people do not necessarily believe what the media has to say, but rather, what the police do.
Peterson is clearly clueless about what is going on around him. That fact has been made even more apparent when another media report surfaced that he is essentially in denial about what is happening in his life at the current moment.
