Colin Kaepernick endorses Beats by Dre. The NFL has a new deal with Bose. Something has to give. Or in this case, someone will be giving (money). The San Francisco 49ers QB has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for wearing non-Bose headphones after last Sunday’s game.
I asked Colin Kaepernick if he or Beats by Dre will pay the $10K fine. “We’ll let that be unanswered,” he said.

While this is a bit of a ridiculous story, you can’t really be too mad at the NFL. They just reached a new mega-deal with Bose, and rules are rules when it comes to wearing competing products. As for whether Kaepernick will adhere to those rules, may be a different story.
But at the same time, $10k is a LOT of money for wearing a competing brand’s headphones. However, everybody knows the NFL is all about fining its players for anything under the sun.
