The Detroit Lions bounced back from a 17-14 home loss to Buffalo by defeating Minnesota 17-3 in Minnesota. In this defensive struggle, plenty of Lions players had outstanding performances which led to ultimate victory. Here are the top five individual performances from yesterday's win.

Theo Riddick stepped up to help fill the role voided created by Reggie Bush’s absence. He didn’t do much on the ground (three carries for six yards), but showed some similarities to Bush in the passing game. Riddick picked up 75 yards on five receptions, with one going for a score.

On 20 total touches, running back Joique Bell gained 97 all-purpose yards with 74 on the ground. Bell also scored on a one-yard touchdown run to give the Lions a 17-0 lead in the fourth quarter.

Ndamukong Suh was a major reason why the Vikings were held to just 69 yards on the ground. Suh dominated Minnesota's interior offensive line, and also recorded two sacks on Teddy Bridgewater.

Tahir Whitehead did a little bit of everything yesterday. He recorded a team-high six solo tackles, two pass deflections, and had two of Detroit's three interceptions off Bridgewater.

The Lions' defensive line constantly harassed Bridgewater, and a big contributor yesterday was Ezekiel Ansah. He recorded two and a half of Detroit's eight sacks on the day, and also recorded four solo tackles.
