Week 7 Matchup: Cleveland Browns (3-2) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-6)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 19, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: EverBank Field
Line: Cleveland (-6)
Don’t look now, but the Cleveland Browns are 3-2, and are still in contention in the AFC North. Now, the season still has a ways to go, but Cleveland fans actually have a lot to be excited about (outside of LeBron James). The same thing cannot be said about fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jags have yet to win a game this season, and I don’t necessarily like their chances of capturing that first win in Week 7. They will be playing at home, so at least there is that.
Other than the fact that Jacksonville is 0-6 on the season, it has also managed to only score 81 points, while giving up 185 in the process.
While the Jaguars are coming off of yet another loss, Cleveland is coming off of a big win against the Pittsburgh Steelers (31-10).
Jacksonville has come closer to winning in the last couple of weeks, and very well could knock off the browns for its first win of 2014, but don’t be surprised when the team falls to 0-7.
Unfortunately for the Jags, they have way too many issues to fix overnight, while the Browns actually have something to play for right now. Look for the Browns’ running game to have yet another solid outing in this contest.
PREDICTION: Browns 24, Jaguars 16
