Week 7 Matchup: Miami Dolphins (2-3) vs. Chicago Bears (3-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 19, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Soldier Field
Line: Chicago (-4)
The Chicago Bears are a hard team to figure out. It’s either really good with this team, or really not-so-good. Luckily for them, they are going through that really good phase right now.
The Bears are coming off of a victory in which they beat the Atlanta Falcons by 14 points on the road. Once again, when this team is good, it is really good. The Bears shouldn’t have any problem winning two in a row, as they take on the Miami Dolphins next.
This contest will be played at Soldier Field as well.
Miami almost snuck a win past the Green Bay Packers in Week 6, but Aaron Rodgers came up clutch at the end of the game.
Oddly enough, the Bears are 3-1 on the road this year, and 0-2 at home. You have to imagine they will win one for their fans sooner or later, though.
If the Dolphins continue to cough up the ball, they will continue to lose games. If Jay Cutler has another solid performance (381 yards, one TD vs. Atlanta), and if Miami turns it over a couple of times, this one will be over before it even starts. Not really, but I think you get the point — turnovers will doom Miami.
Cutler got his top two wide receivers going last game, and that is bad news for the rest of the NFL. It doesn’t help that Matt Forte had a great outing as well. Look for a similar performance against Miami.
PREDICTION: Dolphins 14, Bears 28
